Description
by Maeve McGrathCryos is a study in pressure and resistance. Directed water carves through layers of mineral compound and pigment, revealing a surface fractured by controlled erosion. Alabaster sediment, oxidized silver, dulled aurum, and the faintest trace of diluted rose drift across the field like industrial residue. The composition recalls glacial scouring, corroded infrastructure, and the slow collapse of form over time. Nothing is embellished. Nothing remains unaltered. What’s left is a surface shaped by impact—worn, stripped back, and permanently changed by the method of its making.
